Summary Description
The inside sales position is a relationship, data and communication position that assists in new account setup and ongoing account maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts
- Research existing accounts to ensure that contact information is correct and accurate
- Explain and communicate to customers DAB processes and features
- Account setup through leads and CRM
- Closes new accounts by answering telephone, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information
- Work as a liaison between Order Fulfillment, Outside Sales, Pricing and Technical Support (Customer Care) teams
- D2B co-ownership
- Dotcom/ecommerce sales monitoring
- Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfilment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs
- Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features
- Maintains communication by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems
- Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
- Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
- Manage and maintain assigned regional account ownership
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Education & Experience:
- BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
- 3 to 5 years of industry sales experience
- Familiarity with MS Office software and Teams preferred
- Experience working with dotcom/ecommerce account preferred
- CRM experience preferred
