Summary Description

The inside sales position is a relationship, data and communication position that assists in new account setup and ongoing account maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts
  • Research existing accounts to ensure that contact information is correct and accurate
  • Explain and communicate to customers DAB processes and features
  • Account setup through leads and CRM
  • Closes new accounts by answering telephone, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information
  • Work as a liaison between Order Fulfillment, Outside Sales, Pricing and Technical Support (Customer Care) teams
  • D2B co-ownership
  • Dotcom/ecommerce sales monitoring
  • Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfilment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs
  • Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features
  • Maintains communication by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems
  • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Manage and maintain assigned regional account ownership
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

  • Experience working with dotcom/ecommerce account preferred
  • CRM experience preferred
