Quality Engineer

We are looking for a smart and passionate Quality Engineer willing to join our Quality Control team in DAB Hungary.

In this role you will ensure product quality and process stability by analyzing data, resolving quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will act as key interface between production, suppliers, and customers to enhance quality performance and compliance.

What you will do:

Quality Control & Assurance

• Develop and maintain quality control plans and inspection procedures
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal policies; conduct process audits

Problem solving & Root Cause analysis

• Lead investigations for internal and external quality issues (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa)
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Measurement & Data analysis

• Conduct statistical analysis and process capability studies (SPC, MSA)
• Support advanced measurement techniques (CMM, Keyence, optical measurement systems)

Continuous Improvement & Lean Activities

• Drive quality improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
• Support FMEA, Control Plan, and PFMEA development

Customer & Supplier Quality Management

• Support customer complaint handling and resolution (PPM reduction, 8D reporting)
• Work with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality and supplier performance improvement

WHO you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
• 2 - 3 years in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Fluency in English and Hungarian
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Customer- and result-focused approach
