For our R&D Department , we are looking for a driven and passionate Simulation Engineer who is eager to join a dynamic and evolving environment.
You will be part of the R&D department and will work alongside designers in the analysis and development of innovative hydraulic and structural solutions within ongoing projects, with a particular focus on energy efficiency.
Starting from a classical-theoretical framework of the problem, special attention will be given to the use and interpretation of results from the most modern numerical simulation technologies (CFD/FEM) aimed at predicting the fluid dynamic and mechanical performance of virtual prototypes, both for individual products and complete systems. Finally, you will be directly involved in 3D/2D component design with particular attention to feasibility, experimental verification, and statistical analysis of results.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent with in-depth knowledge of internal fluid dynamics of turbomachinery and fluid dynamic systems.
• Good knowledge in at least one of the following CFD software: STAR-CCM+, Open-FOAM, Fluent, CFX
• Knowledge in at least one of the following FEM software: Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, Code_Aster
• Good knowledge of at least one programming language among: Matlab or similar, Python, Java, C++
• Good skills in 3D CAD modeling
• Good command of the English language
The profile is completed by a basic understanding of modeling and simulation principles of hydraulic networks and systems (Simulink, Modelica, Amesim, OpenModelica).
