Installations sizing internship
The internship is intended to provide a first touch to the application of the theory acquired during the studies. The person we are looking for, will follow a series of training to refresh the basis behind the main parts of pumping systems (hydraulic, motor, controls) and on DAB products portfolio. The intern will than work on different standards starting from, but not limited to, European regulations.
The aim is to create a solid, clear, and detailed documentation to support requests coming from all around the world: it will include references to regulations and formulas applications with related examples.
How you will support the Team:
- You will be inserted into the DProject regions team, our presales office for foreign requests
- Interact with colleagues from the subsidiaries, to understand local peculiarities in standards
- Refine and structure the existing tools used for such dimensioning:
- Sewage tanks and pumps
- Hot water circulation systems
- Heating
- Pressurization
- Firefighting pressure units
- Share the results with subsidiaries to make them available in different languages
Who you are
- Proactive Mindset: Ability not just follow instructions, but proactively propose solutions to reach the goal
- Degree in Engineering, or high school studies with at least three years of experience, in these fields: electrical, mechanical, electronic, materials
- Fluency in English; Knowledge of Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian (for Ukraine market) will be considered a plus.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts in an accessible way
- Willingness to Learn: A passion for continuous development and the ability to quickly absorb new technical information
