Position – Import/Export Specialist

We are seeking for a passionate and driven person that will be placed within the Distribution process relating to the inbound/outbound flow of finished products that gravitate towards the first-level hub (MAIN Distribution Center DAB).

What you will do

• DOCUMENTATION: Manage and issue documentation relating to international shipments (road, sea and air);
• The "issue" of requirement import/export documentation like Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, and Certificate of Origin, Letter of Credit management;
• CUSTOMS: Issue of the export custom declaration being able to check origin , value, custom codes and managing all the issues concerning import and export;
• TRANSPORT: Arrange transport by road LCL and FTL in Italy and Europe, arrange transport by air and by sea LCL and full containers, valuating the best rates and relevant services;
• Check the performance of the distribution process and monitor the performance;
• Carrying out reporting, analysis, and KPI monitoring activities;
• Cooperation to improve the distribution process, supporting the team on layout redesign projects through tenders, analysis and control of logistics costs.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Languages, Engineering;
• Preferred previous experience in international trade consultants/customs agencies (Freight forwarder; Custom broker Agency ) similar roles in multinational companies. Experience in customs regulations, tax matters (export, import, VAT, triangulation), transport regulations, international agreements;
• Fluent English both written and verbal (knowledge of a second language is welcome);
• Previous experience in project management preferred;
• Ability to work in a team, manage relationships with service providers and internal/external customers;
• Available for business travel.
